NEW RULE
Webring Widget Requirement: Applicants must have The Monster Network widget installed and functioning on their website before their application can be accepted. The widget does not need to be placed on the homepage, but it must be present somewhere on the site and work correctly.
After submitting an application, you will have one week to add the widget if it is not already present. During this period, your website may be checked to verify that the widget has been installed. If the widget is still missing after one week, the application will be discarded and the site will no longer be checked for that application.
If you install the widget after your application has been discarded, you must submit a new application for your site to be considered again. A new application will only be considered if the widget is already installed and functioning. Repeated applications submitted without the required widget may be permanently rejected. -
Independent Website Requirement: Member sites must be independent websites. Social media profiles (such as Instagram, TikTok, Twitter/X, Tumblr blogs used only as feeds, etc.) do not qualify as valid entries. Your site must have its own dedicated page or domain where content is directly hosted and maintained by you.
NOTE: Your website does not need to contain anything about Monster High for you to participate, you just need to like it! - Respect & Non-Discrimination Policy: Member sites must not promote, encourage, or tolerate any form of hate speech, harassment, or discrimination against marginalized groups, including but not limited to LGBTQ+ individuals, people with disabilities, racial or ethnic minorities, or religious groups.
- Advertising Limitations: Websites containing an excessive amount of advertisements, intrusive pop-ups, malicious redirects, or misleading monetization practices will not be accepted. Limited and reasonable advertising is permitted, provided it does not negatively impact user experience.
- AI Usage Policy: Websites that use AI-generated content may participate. However, a site that is entirely generated and maintained solely by artificial intelligence, without meaningful personal input, will not be accepted. The Monster Network values creativity, individuality, and personal expression.
- Rule Enforcement: Failure to comply with any of the rules listed above will result in removal from The Monster Network. In severe or extreme cases, removal may occur without prior notice.
Information
A webring is a small community of websites connected through navigation links. When you join a webring, your site becomes part of a circle — visitors can move from one member’s website to another, discovering new creators who share the same interest. It’s an old-school internet concept that keeps fandom spaces alive and personal.
I created this webring for one simple reason: I thought it would be fun.
I’ve always loved Monster High, and it’s one of my favorite stories ever. I noticed that I had never seen a webring dedicated entirely to Monster High fans — whether they grew up with G1, enjoyed G2, or are now watching G3.
So I decided to take on this little “monster duty” myself. Not because I had to — but because I genuinely wanted to. This space exists out of pure passion, creativity, and the joy of being part of a fandom.
